Strictly under the control of the ISO9001:2008 QC system.
RoHS Compliant

The Temperature Label for Vacuums is a label-type temperature indicator for use under vacuum conditions (1Pa~ordinary pressure). Temperatures can be monitored without wiring or electric power  supply just by applying this label where needed. The color-changing area changes from light yellow to black when the response temperature is exceeded.

Sample Uses

Measure surface temperature of silicon wafer

Measure sputter temperature

Usage

Apply where temperature monitoring is required.

Warnings

  • Do not rub the color-changing part. This may cause abnormal color changes.
  • Apply on a flat surface. The temperature label for vacuums might fall off if applied on an uneven surface.
  • Do not bend the indicator or apply to a curved surface.
  • Do not cut the Temperature Label for Vacuums. This may reduce the durability of the product or cause abnormal color changes.

Effective lifetime

1 year after manufacturing
Outdoor use: The Temperature Label for Vacuums is not designed for outdoor use

Storage

Store unused indicators at room temperature under dark conditions. Avoid high temperatures and excessive humidity.

Precautions

Color Change
  • The color change temperature and its accuracy were determined at room temperature with a 2-3°C/min heating rate. Under special conditions, the color change temperature might differ.
  • The performance of irreversible temperature labels which change color at 130 or higher may be changed if it is exposed to temperatures in the 10from the specified temperature.

Applying the Label

  • Remove water, oil, rust and dust from the surface before applying the label. Contamination and uneven surfaces can cause labels to fall off or lead to abnormal color changes.
  •   Remove the release film, apply where temperature monitoring is required, and press the surface of the label gently with a finger or cloth. Strong rubbing might damage the label and affect performance (leading to abnormal color changes).
  •  Apply the labels on a flat surface. Labels are not designed to be applied on curved or corner surfaces.
  • Do not change the shape of the product. Cutting the product with a knife or reshaping it can reduce its durability and cause abnormal color changes.
Usage
  • Do not use electromagnetic induction heating devices such as microwave ovens under high pressure conditions.
  • Do not use the Temperature Label for Vacuums under plasticizer*-affected conditions. When the Temperature Label for Vacuums absorbs plasticizer*, the indicator may change color and/or the adhesion of the Temperature Label for Vacuums may be affected.
  • The insulated coating of electrical cables, terminal caps, and vinyl chloride resin may contain plasticizer.

Directive of RoHS

The temperature label for vacuums does not contain chemical substances prohibited by the RoHS directive.
